DayDuties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle problems and perform the necessary repairs;
- Complete inspections and other task-related reports;
- Perform oil changes, tune-ups, and other routine maintenance tasks;
- Document the work performed and keep maintenance records up to date;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
- Comply with occupational health and safety procedures;
- Collaborate with fleet managers and other team members to plan repairs and minimize downtime
- Perform tire changes
- Repair and maintain construction equipment (vibratory plates, generators, etc.)
Qualifications
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of pickup trucks and light-duty vehicles
- Good knowledge of modern mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic;
