Project Assistant – Civil Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates

  • The management of bids, negotiations, and contract awards to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Scheduling and resource planning (labor, materials, support services, etc.)
  • All operations, work, and procedures related to bid preparation and construction project management
  • Document management and administrative follow-up for projects

Profitability and operational performance

  • Optimization of on-site work and continuous improvement;
  • Developing work methods and monitoring project costs;
  • Monitoring project costs and key performance indicators;
  • Analyzing plans and technical documents to establish the quality control strategy, project schedule, and budget;
  • Effective communication with the team, suppliers, and subcontractors;
  • Implement and monitor change orders;
  • Ensure the completion of project-related administrative tasks (procurement, quality control, invoicing, time tracking, quantity calculations, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or any other relevant field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering and construction
  • Experience in civil engineering project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, and independence
