Work schedule:
Monday through FridayDuties and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing bids and in planning and organizing civil engineering projects.
- Manage resources and monitor the progress of work.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safe work practices (OHS, environment).
- Supervise and mentor construction site teams.
- Manage risks, resolve problems, and ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and contractual requirements.
- Produce and approve daily reports.
- Ensure the quality of the work and conduct a final review of the project to provide recommendations
Qualifications
- CCQ certification (preferred).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in team management in the construction industry (civil engineering).
- Solid knowledge of construction site techniques, blueprint reading, and surveying.
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Rigorous adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
